It’s no secret that I’m quite a superhero nerd and with Avengers: Infinity War looming, I thought it to be high time to get up close and personal with the last ten years of MCU and everything they have had to offer for cinema. Having recently binged through phases one to three (up to, and including Black Panther), I am now ready to share my (somewhat flippant) rankings of all eighteen films so far. In no way is this list set in stone; I may look back at it in a week and complete disagree but for now, these are my thoughts.

It’s the New Year, so it calls for a look ahead for what is in store for us from music & film
2017 may be gone, but 2018 is only just beginning. There are plenty of things to get excited for in the coming year in terms of entertainment releases. From Marvel blockbusters to rock returns, it is time to explore the album and films that will be coming to our eyes and ears this year.

Time to look back over the films that have come to our screens in the last 12 months and which takes top spot.
It’s been a while since films have been discussed on this ol’ blog, but as it’s the end of the year, it seems apt to delve into the somewhat small number of films that I did get to see at the cinema this year. I will admit right now that the list is considerably smaller than the previous year, but as music has taken over as the main focus of the site then I can also admit I have slacked in other entertainment environments. This list may be small, but there have been some total crackers from 2017 to still celebrate. (Based on UK release dates)

Listing some of my favourite songs from previous Eurovision Song Contests
Top 10 Eurovision Tracks
With the 2018 grand final of Eurovision just round the corner, I’ve gone and looked at some of my old favourites from previous years to get myself back in the mood. It was a pretty tough list, as there actually are some decent songs scattered about the last few years, so the order that these have been put in is pretty vague. Just as a disclaimer – these are just my own opinion; i’d love to hear others, so don’t hesitate to comment below!

Netflix TV Review
– Includes potential spoilers –
Covering the books written by Lemony Snicket, the latest original series to arrive on Netflix is the book adaptation of ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events‘. My first contribution to the Sunshine Blogger Award community, answering questions and sharing the love.
I was recently nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award by Markus (TheMarckoguy). This is something I haven’t come across before in the blogging community yet, so it was a nice surprise to be recognised. The award, in case anyone is not aware, provides individuals to answer some questions and then nominate other blogs to share the love around. It’s also just a nice way to learn just a little bit more about the writer themselves.
