Launching August last year, the HMA’s makes a big, anticipated return this month. It brings together a multitude of music industry experts and enthusiasts to celebrate the best and most beloved in rock and heavy music. The event takes place TONIGHT (24 August 2018) at KOKO, Camden in London.
Spread across four stages at three venues, Fat Lip Fest is a party for everyone to get involved in. Slam Dunk 2018 Preview
We’re nearing the end of May which can only mean one thing: another bank holiday packed full of awesome music across three venues to mark the official start of festival season. Slam Dunk Festival brings together the worlds of rock, punk and ska into one day of non-stop music in Birmingham, Leeds and Hatfield; hand in hand with plenty of stage clashes. Once again we have been blessed with some top announcements and in preparation for the big event, I take a closer look at the stage splits and give you some of my highlights to look out for during the weekend.
With Fat Lip already being a popular name in the South West due to the ever growing alt-rock night taking place every month, it is welcoming to see the brand take a new direction with the formation of the all-day festival taking place for the first time on the 29th July 2017. They’ve already secured a diverse lineup of high caliber bands ranging from Young Guns in their well-deserved headliner slot to fresh pop-punkers ROAM and heavier rockers Feed the Rhino; this fest is already shaping up to be a little something for everyone. I take a deeper peek into the full lineup and present some of the ones to be looking out for on the day.

Top 10 Eurovision Tracks
With the 2018 grand final of Eurovision just round the corner, I’ve gone and looked at some of my old favourites from previous years to get myself back in the mood. It was a pretty tough list, as there actually are some decent songs scattered about the last few years, so the order that these have been put in is pretty vague. Just as a disclaimer – these are just my own opinion; i’d love to hear others, so don’t hesitate to comment below!
