Ever since she was a small child, she has been drawn to the great blue. Her grandmother teaches her the ancient truths of her ancestors and their travels across the ocean. Against the wishes of her father, Moana strives to follow their footsteps.She sets on a vast adventure to find the mighty demigod Maui, thus righting the wrongs he made against the island Goddess Te Fiti.

The high powers of US government recruits an assembly of infamous antiheroes in order to protect, succeeding the death of Superman. The alleged ‘Suicide Squad’ are forced into a situation of life or death, with the prospects of shortening their sentence hanging in the balance. Intended as part of the recruitment, the possessed witch Enchantress is quick to revolt against the operatives and seek resurrection of her brother and assist her plot for domination. It’s then down to the band of bad guys to ultimately put a stop to the power-driven antagonist, collaborating together their mix of contrasting abilities

Maintaining an abundant lifestyle in the wilderness, Ben Cash raised his six children for survival away from the rest of working society. Sheltered from the big city bustle, the family live under their own distinct terms, following a routine of hunting and training. After the news of their mum’s suicide is brought to Ben’s attention, life becomes jolted. Dismissed from the funeral plans because of their choice of lifestyle, Ben and his children are determined to fulfil his wife’s wishes. Proceeding into society, the children are put to the ultimate test of surviving in civilisation, while Ben’s capabilities as a father are questioned.

In the age of technology, our society is exposed to many new and radical notions that may have once seemed unthinkable to exist in the real world. 2016 saw the release of teenage action feature Nerve, of which graced our cinema screens to depict an extreme, online game of truth or dare. Situated in a world virtually identical to our own, the film displays similarities, yet still holds an utmost far-fetched notion concerning the world of social media and online way of life. The question lies to whether or not these notions could in fact be plausible in our current society or if it’s just too drastic even for our world.

Living what seems to be the life of luxury, art gallery owner Susan is dragging herself through an unhappy marriage and an unsatisfying work life. After the delivery of an abnormal package from her ex-husband, her mind becomes enthralled in the novel manuscript she’s been gifted with and thoughts drift back to memories of her life with Edward. Dedicated to her, the book depicts a character doubling as Edward, battling dark and enthralling circumstances.
