Halfway through the year and I’m feeling like this is already turning out to be a pretty good un’ in terms of music and media. So many old favourites have been sharing their latest tracks throughout 2018, some awesome bands have put on awesome performances and we are being treated some some fantastic movies. It’s no secret that I’m quite a superhero nerd and with Avengers: Infinity War looming, I thought it to be high time to get up close and personal with the last ten years of MCU and everything they have had to offer for cinema. Having recently binged through phases one to three (up to, and including Black Panther), I am now ready to share my (somewhat flippant) rankings of all eighteen films so far. In no way is this list set in stone; I may look back at it in a week and complete disagree but for now, these are my thoughts.

Time to look back over the films that have come to our screens in the last 12 months and which takes top spot.
It’s been a while since films have been discussed on this ol’ blog, but as it’s the end of the year, it seems apt to delve into the somewhat small number of films that I did get to see at the cinema this year. I will admit right now that the list is considerably smaller than the previous year, but as music has taken over as the main focus of the site then I can also admit I have slacked in other entertainment environments. This list may be small, but there have been some total crackers from 2017 to still celebrate. (Based on UK release dates)
